This early Titan release lives up to the porn giant's high standards. The production values are top notch. The exotic locations are beautifully photographed. Even if you saw the video when it was first released, the DVD is still worth a look because it’s loaded with enough extras to make a second feature length video. For starters, there’s a five minute musical slide show and a softcore watersports clip. (When the boys answer nature‘s call, they pee on the foliage, not each other, thus the term “softcore.”) There’s also an interview with an older and presumably wiser Adriano Marquez, shot after a five-year “retirement” from the industry. Additionally, Titan goes above and beyond by including another hours worth of softcore footage, some of it culled from an earlier release, Immersion.
There are two shower scenes -- one with Will Clark and York Powers and another with Brad Michaels and Trenton Comeaux. Then there’s another scene where Michaels ties Adriano Marquez to a tree, blindfolds him and feeds him fruit. And for added kicks, there’s a scene where five members of the cast show off their amazing bodies by playing a game of naked football.
All in all, Island Guardian is a must-see. It gets out highest recommendation.
