Scott might look familiar even if you haven't seen his Playgirl spread. That's because he's made several appearances on various syndicated game shows, and according to IMDb he even has a few mainstream acting credits under his belt.
We get to see Scott, a former Chippendales dancer, in various stages of undress, but he spends most of his time in nut-hugging lycra swimsuits. The seasoned Fantasy Man persona is a nice fit for this 36-year-old centerfold model. He goes scuba diving in Stingray City in a translucent white thong. He rides horseback in a cowboy hat, then peels off his tight Levis for a sudsy shower in the great outdoors. And, best of all, he walks the pristine beaches wearing nothing but his birthday suit with his "happy, but not exuberant" penis flapping in the breeze.
It's an enjoyable viewing experience overall, but I do have a few complaints. Mainly, Playgirl makes no concessions to its vast gay readership. As a result, the "for ladies only" vibe is nearly overwhelming. This is mainly a problem during the segment that features Scott's all male dance troupe The Hollywood Men. It's full of shrieking, hysterical female fans with nasal Wisconsin accents. There's also a disappointing short supply of nudity during this segment. For some reason, the strippers keep their underwear on, barely showing a hint of butt cheek.
Scott spends a lot of time talking about himself. Some of this interview footage is informative, but quite a bit of it is annoying as hell. Scott sounds downright prudish at times. From his pictures, he looks like he'd be an animal in the sack, but his apparent fear of the porn stigma and of showing wood on camera nearly deflates his uninhibited sex symbol image. And when Scott starts talking about relationships and his idea of the perfect woman... Oy! It's time to hit the mute button!
Still, I liked this video, and I'm sure I'll wear out the pause button on those Cayman Island scenes. The DVD also includes a photo gallery, however, most of the shots are non-nudes.
